Level 1
A written exam to obtain a work permit or patent.
The duration of the exam is no more than 80 minutes.
Level 2
The examination for obtaining a temporary residence permit is conducted orally and in writing.
The duration is no more than 90 minutes.
Level 3
The exam for obtaining a residence permit is conducted orally and in writing
The duration is no more than 90 minutes.

Exam for foreign citizens and stateless persons
The exam is conducted using control measuring materials, which are sets of tasks in a standardized form.
They were developed by the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution "Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements" based on the requirements for the minimum level of knowledge required to pass the exam according to the Russian language as a foreign language, the history of Russia and the fundamentals of the legislation of the Russian Federation, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 05/31/2021 No. 840, they are differentiated by the level of complexity depending on the purpose of obtaining the certificate.
